How I approach the work.

This website is written for people building and operating service businesses. The aim is to make the lessons useful enough that you can apply them to a decision in front of you.

Experience, examples, and sources

Articles draw on my work running Preferred Pest Management, my own experiments, and conversations with others in the industry. When I describe a personal result, it should be presented as my experience. Worked examples and hypothetical numbers should be identified as examples rather than represented as results from my business.

Software features, pricing, and business conditions change. Publication and update dates help you judge the context. Check current product documentation and the details of your own situation before making a consequential decision.

Tools and editorial responsibility

I use AI and other tools in my business and content workflow. Tools can help organize material, but the responsibility for what appears under my name remains mine. Original experience, accurate context, and useful explanations matter more than publishing volume.

Commercial relationships

I own Preferred Pest Management. References to that business should be read in that context. Mentioning a tool or company is not, by itself, a statement that the article is sponsored. Any paid placement or affiliate relationship should be disclosed alongside the relevant material.

Corrections and questions

If you spot an error, a broken link, or a claim that needs clearer context, send a message with the article address and the specific concern. Substantive updates should be reflected in the article’s update date.
